Lynx OR Axe
I got out of the shower this morning and had a bit of difficulty choosing which deodorant to apply. You see I have a collection of Lynx deodorant (Called Axe in Europe (Ex UK), USA and Canada). Whenever they have been on special at the supermarket i thought to myself i just have to pick a new flavour. Then of course during my visit to USA i saw that they have a few fragrances that we dont so i brought yet more!
It has now come to a point where i have so many that it is now a chore each morning choosing which one to apply. I have decided to start spraying a little extra in order to get rid of them a little quicker!
Lynx (Axe) has been one of those companies that has been so successful. For a start it's cheap so that teenagers can buy it and then it is a brand you recognise from those teenage years so you tend to carry on using it. They then periodically release new scents so that you can smell a bit different but still keep to the brand. I wouldnt say i was a brand loyal customer but there must be a reason why i have kept using Lynx for so long.
I have a feeling that Axe has not been on the market for too long in USA and Canada but here in New Zealand it has probably been around about 15 years or so. My favourite has to be Lynx Voodoo.
Im sure Lynx has helped me score a few times with the boys ;)

Go get em tiger! The AXE ads on TV are pretty funny here. There is another one like AXE too, but I can't think of it... both appeal to a younger crowd.
By the way, not sure if you have seen my replies to your questions about TiVo and the weather and such on my blog... I never know how to reply to your specific questions other than to post replies in my blog... just want to be sure you are getting them.
I wondered what that pleasant, sexy odor was wafting in from the southwest.
Strange how the same product has different names.
As Condoblogger mentioned, the ads here are hilarious. I think the other product is "Tag body spray," and their ads are hot.
So cheap that teenagers can buy it? Are you trying to smell like a teenager, or attract one? (grin)
hmmm... sniff sniff... hmmm
That's a lot of Axe!
Tag, Axe, and Bod Man are geared towards young men here in the US. I've never tried any of them, but have a couple of nephews who like to swim in it apparently. ;)
I was a die-hard A&F fragrance man until they got rid of their old scents and switched to new ones.
AXE has only been around for a few years here, nowhere near 15 as you said, but it is one of the most popular. especially the spray! And, yes, the ads are cool and hot
geez. that's a lot of deodorent. lol.
personally, I use Kiehl's.
LOL...I use Lynx 'Africa' but that is the only scent I own...I have other non-lynx sprays as well...Hehe your funny! But great shopping sense...xxx
I do love the foreign commercials for lynx/axe body spray. I went and saw the british TV advertising awards, and several of the ads for the body sprays did really well.
i go au natural -- and shower/take a bath twice a day.
Man, you are at least 5 pct of the international market share!
My "Kiwi Magic" rhodie is starting to open. Will have pics soon for you.
OMG! you have too much time on your hands if you are wondering which to use!
