Now, Which is the best city in America? New York or Los Angeles?
Ive never been to LA but my view is that New York is best.

I have never been outisde of Australia...lol
Look out world when I conquer my fear of flying & get a passport...:P
I've never been to L.A., but I've visited NYC several times and loved it each time.
L.A. kinda scares me. Constant traffic, smog, drugs, gangs...but some people love it. I guess I watch the wrong movies.
If I had to choose... I would say NYC... there's more to do in a much more convienient package. LA is really spread out, lots of driving. I think you could see more in a walk through Manhattan in a day than you could in a drive across southern California.
But don't limit your choices... How about Chicago? Seattle? Two GREAT cities!
Skip Atlanta for now... but in a couple years check back, we have some new stuff on the horizon.
On second thought... go where Shaney lives... WOW!
Yep , Chicago, hands down. Oh, that wasn't a choice, was it?
I've been to NYC, and LA, and still prefer Chicago. Cleaner, lively gay area,(boy's town),everything the other two have, great shopping and restaurants, but on beautiful lake michigan, with great beaches!
Oh, no La smog, And no Statue of Liberty.
Been to NYC dozens of times and love it there...never been to LA, so I can not comment! And condoblogger! I agree about Shaney! He is a great guy!
As for American cities, I would have to choose Chicago. It has great shopping, amazing history and architecture, and a wonderful gay scene. It also has a great "museum complex". I visit Chicago at least once a year (my sister & her family lives there).
If you ever want a relaxing summer vacation, visit the Outer Banks of North Carolina. :)
I wouldn't ever visit LA, but I'd go to NYC every single time it were possible!
:-)
Actually, the best city in the US is Washington DC - but of your two, NYC wins hands down!
