Mt Cook

Today ihave met up with a fellow blogger in Christchurch. If you're reading Don, great to meet you mate and great to share a beer or two even though it was early afternoon.

It is Thursday night here and im trying to decide what to do for the weekend. I have a voucher for a free nights accomodation at the Mount Cook National YHA. Im not sure whether to do it this weekend or wait until there is a further possibility of snow and enjoy the wintry scene..decision, decisions. If you dont know what Mount Cook looks like it is truely majestic. It is Australasia's largest mountain and it is situated a short way from us.

You WILL take pictures, when you go, won't you? Even some of the mountain? ;)

I do love the saeside, but huge mountains also attract me, like the Pyrenees and the Alps! We don't have them in Portugal though, the highest peak being only 2,000 m...
Yes, decisons are always a complex process... Hope you'll reach the best one for you!
Hugs! :-)

Can't wait to read and see about your excursion to Mt. Cook. The nice thing about North Carolina is that we have mountains, foothills, and beautiful beaches all within one day's drive.

LOL... so I saw the title of your post out of the corner of my eye...

MT COOK

For just a brief second my brain saw two different words and my dirty mind immediately lept to "Is he really going to talk about THAT?"

Dude- I just read an article about some international cocktail festival being held in Queenstown. Possibly sponsored by 42 below (New Zealand vodka).

Did you know there's a 42 below that is flavored with maruka honey?

I need some maruka honey! that shit was the bomb!
