Queens Birthday Holiday
Today has been the Queens Birthday Holiday Monday. I've had the day off work and done very little which is great. There's a few Queens Birthday sales on but i chose to avoid them and go to Starbucks instead for a latte.
Tonight is another cold night outside. The heat pump is on high and although the house is warm, the bedroom is a bit chilly so im a bit hesitant of going into bed.

We don't have a holiday for her birthday here , but then we don't celebrate it either. Have a great holiday anyhow.
I had no idea the Queen's Birthday was a national holiday in NZ! Enjoy the day off!

We have"Queen's Holiday" in the states too... we call it "Pride Weekend" or "Elton's Birthday."
I thought Elton John was the new "Her Majesty".

... the benefits of having a Queen. I'm so jealous. However, we're having a holiday today, but please don't ask me which one. As long as it's free, I don't care. ;)
