A quiet day shpping!
Today I have been out shpping with my partner. We have been to the mall to buy ourselves some suitcases for our big trip to New York in November. We thought that we would get a medium size one each. Im still not convinced it will be big enough to bring back everything we buy but i guess they will sell bags ove r there if we need a spare one.
There were not that many people around the city today. I guess most people were waiting to go out shopping tomorrow which is Labour Day. There doesnt look like that theres too many sales on but at least it will save some people some money.
My thought of the day is.......Why should America have nuclear bombs and countries like Iran and North Korea not? Is America anymore trustworthy with them than these countries? Should there be sanctions?
My opinion is the fewer countries that have them the better but now that more countries are getting them how do we contain them?

New York in November? Better pack some insulated windbreakers!
Re: Question of the day - when you've got someone like King George III in charge, you question becomes all the more significant. Don't you just love our double standards!
I really wish that no one had them, but I guess they are here to stay. With who we have in charge here in America, I am suprised he is not firing them off willy nilly. I am going to go think of something happier now...
Didn't you hear? America can do whatever it wants because it's the greatest country in the world. And once everyone realizes that we know what's best for everyone else, then the world should be a much safer place.
*quietly removes tongue from cheek*
I recall learning about this in Global Studies sophomore year of high school. It's not so much about who has the bomb as people make it sounds -- it's more about breaking promises. See, there's this treat, I forget the name of it (I don't really care what it's called to be totally honest :P). When it was signed the US, the USSR, China, the UK, and France all had nuclear bombs. Okay, that's fine. They signed it saying...I don't remember what, but it sounded like a good idea at the time. It did allow them to keep the bombs they had.
When the USSR dissolved, Russia was given all the bombs and was asked tp uphold the treaty.
Every other country in the world except India, Pakistan, and Israel has signed that treaty, which stipulates that they will not develop nuclear bombs. So, at least in my opinion, it's more about honoring the treating.
Also, the guy in charge of North Korea is an utter psychopath, so that's kind of important too.
