Madonna

What do you reckon to this Madonna adopting the
african boy? Im kind of on the fence about this one regarding as to whether it is god or bad. In some respects it's good because the kid gets to live a rich life and bad because as he grows up there will be such a large gap in his upbringing linking him to his father.
I find it fascinating though how she has managed to get around the adoption stuff in Britain. Perhaps the legal system can be influenced by money.

I have read quite a few blogs lately. There are some good ones out there. I particularly like Kelly Sterns as this stands out really well but there are others. I will try and name a few more in my next entry.

I think everything can be influenced by money. It's a matter of amount. But he is lucky. I'm sure Madonna will take good care of him.

Thanks for stopping by at my blog. A friend of mine has just moved to Aukland about three months ago.

Legal system influenced by money? Surely you jest! We have nothing resembling that here in the States. [**he is struck down by lightening**]

I guess I see the kid as more of a trophy kid/publicity stunt and for that I pity him. All the money in the world cannot replace genuine family love.

Yes I think she will do a good job raising the baby. I explained my thoughts about this in a post I did earlier in the week. I just think people are making a bigger deal out of this than they should. The child would not have been adopted if it didn't need to be. He would have gone to another family but it might have taken a lot longer. In my eyes this was in his favor. The adoption process takes far too long for children and many sit in an orphanage or in a family that is unable to provide for them until they are adopted. This child will be able to live on, and she is in a small part helping keep his heritage going.

Great blog, glad you came to visit mine, keep up the great stories!

Actually, Madonna didn't influence the legal system. Instead, she did something very difficult for someone in her position to do: she kept part of her personal life out of the media's gaze. She has an open letter to her fans about all of this on her website. It's all perfectly legal, she's been going through the system....
It's just that, like so often happens, the moment a star wants something to herself, like, y'know, family, the public thinks she's trying to hide something and therefore must be doing something wrong. From that, you get rumors -- she's paying off the adoption agencies, she's involved in human trafficking, you know what's being said.
As to the idea that the adoption is for publicity...does Madonna *need* publicity? She just crucified herself, 'member?

I get the pictures of my pretties from Google Image Search, actually. Yeah, it's the cheap way out but it works for me. :P
I've been acting for roughly forever. At this point, it's getting kind of repetitive...but I can't stop, I still love it! :P
