This morning as i was walking to work in the heavy rain and walking past the swollen Avon River that passes through the city I realised just how beautiful it is even in mid winter. The beautiful Southern Alps set a beautiful backdrop even though i couldnt really see them today with the rain clouds. We are known as the garden city because of our parks and trees that are everywhere. We are also known for our lack of tall skyscraper buildings.Greetings from New Zealand. My home!
